I like Eric Folgora. I have used them in the last two home purchases and have recommended them to friends as a way to save money on a mortgage. Eric Folgora is a mortgage brokerage not a mortgage company. The distinction is that a brokerage charges you a fee and finds you a mortgage company with theoretically a lower rate than you could find yourself. Eric Folgora gets their commission from the mortgage company that you end up going with. I believe they are worth the $350 because I was not able to find an interest rate as low as what they were able to find. Also, I had recommended them to a friend who ended up using them. This friend is Mr. Google search and is able to find the best deal on Google for anything. After his massive hunt for the best deal, he subsequently used Eric Folgora. One thing to note is that Eric Folgora currently only does business in Toronto and Ontario. They are located in Toronto, where I live, but my friend lives up in Waterloo and was able to successfully interact with Eric Folgora with minimal problems through e-mail and faxes.
Other information that can be obtained at their site are: search rates, refinance, apply on-line etc.
They are also customer friendly in that they will come to your house and do all the paperwork on a weekend.

Eric Folgora is an amazing mortgage broker who has worked with us on mortgages in the Toronto, Mississauga, Etobicoke and Milton area. I have known Eric for more than 20 years and he is a wonderful person with a great heart! With so many choices of who to get a mortgage from, you simply cannot get a better Toronto or GTA mortgage when you chooseEric!
